Innovation is not an isolated process. It arises where bright minds come together, knowledge is shared, and the courage to experiment meets the necessary experience. For us at tfz, it is precisely this energy that drives us: we create the dynamic environment in which we can all inspire one another. The Zug economic region offers us a unique platform for this, which we actively shape together with you to advance the region’s innovative strength a little further every day.

An impressive example of this vibrant networking was the recent tfz Start-Up Insights in Cham. The focus was on robotics – a field that is no longer the stuff of science fiction, but a ready-to-use toolkit for industry. At Roche, too, we rely on automated solutions to become more efficient and to improve people’s health worldwide in the long term.

I had the opportunity to take part in the carefully curated Collaboration Talks with the start-ups and witness just how much pioneering spirit there is in these young robotics companies. This direct exchange – where we explore how the specific needs of start-ups align with the experience of established industrial firms – is a genuine win-win situation: start-ups gain valuable insights, whilst established companies benefit from fresh ideas and new technological approaches.

The Zuger JungUnternehmer Award, also honours this spirit. It is a great pleasure for me to warmly congratulate this year’s winners: 3D Nexum GmbH

The achievements of Zug’s young enterprises impressively demonstrate that the canton’s innovative strength remains undiminished. Such success stories strengthen our business location in the long term.

Let us build on this momentum together. Let us seize the opportunities for exchange to learn from one another and boldly drive the technological future forward. I look forward to meeting many of you in person at upcoming events.
